We lead the WCC with 10 points. The Oct. 26 Pepperdine and Nov. 2 Santa Clara games at Lorenz Field will probably determine the WCC championship. No conference tourney so the regular-season champion earns the NCAA berth.

Beavers defeat San Diego 3-1
Carraher with the brace 20' (assist by Figueroa) and 70' (unassisted). Martinez 73' (assist by Choi)

San Diego pressed for the first 15 minutes, but the Beavers were able to take control from there. Even when the Toreros had a break away, the Beavers were able to get back quickly and smother any scoring opportunity.
Still in first with 13 points in 5 matches! Next up, LMU at home on Oct. 23. One of four teams who are tied for second entering today.
