It's probably pretty easy to put up an excellent QBR when you have a clean pocket on 95% of your drop-backs. The advantage at the line was obvious on offense and defense Saturday. Easier, yes, but not easy. He also had a very nice run for a TD and numerous times when he hit his second or third option, especially on the TD pass to the north end zone. He's a good QB. That's why he got big money at Oklahoma and even bigger money to leave Oklahoma. Pretty easy to get to ur 2nd, 3rd options when you literally have time to eat samich in the pocket

We couldn't cover the 1st guy and they did a lot of 3 step drops. He got rid of the ball in a hurry....so time for sammy eating.

None of all that changes the fact that Gabriel had a very good game against us and has been/will be an excellent college quarterback at three schools.

Just that his very high QBR was certainly influenced by our pass rush barely sniffing him all day. A lot of poorer QBs would have looked pretty good in that situation Saturday.

None of LB's or Safeties remotely look like Taylor Swift.

He was a decent guy and a good teammate, from all accounts. He made a mistake by leaving, that's punishment enough.
I don't like FSU AT ALL, but I wish him well.
