I think that was a bad call , that penalty. The FSU player didn't touch the BCU player or he just barely did . That was Oscar worthy by the BCU player and the refs bought it

DJU looks great getting off the bus but he keeps playing like this he will be yanked Jamarcus Russell II. All the skills, no touch. I don’t think he’s dumb like JMR. Plus he could complete the long balls and more. Just not dedicated (lazy) and dumb in the NFL.

I would have scored again - exclamation point. Mike Riley, is that you? 😎

Not talking about intelligence, just raw skills. They both can throw a potato 90 yards off their knees, but can’t throw a 10 yard check-down.

It's not all DJUs fault. Fsu has a whopping 21 yards of rushing on all of 7 carries.

Definitely would have went in one more time. Not like the FSU defense would have stopped them

DJ had 13 ypcompletion with zero running game backing him up. That’s not horrible, just not sure what it is with him that seems like he’s just not a leader. It’s strange.

It's not all DJUs fault. Fsu has a whopping 21 yards of rushing on all of 7 carries. Because he couldn't complete a pass to save his life in the first half. BC was begging him to pass. They sold out to stop the run and dared DJU to beat them, and he couldnt. He was something like 9 for 22 for 117 0 and 0 at half time. Grant yes, FSU abandoned the run with the game only at 14-6. Literally a one score game and Norvell stopped running, of course that didn't help matters. But he had some ugly, ugly misses early on some open guys for TDs. a big part of me things Norvell kept at it because he thought the plays were there. They should of been, DJU was missing. He was bad. It got better for a little bit in the mid third quarter until he reverted back to poop. It is going to be a long long season for FSU, teams are.going to keep this up, making DJU be the one to beat them and until he finally proves someone otherwise he ain't gonna do it.

As far as DJU, I don't care. I'm glad FSU lost because I despise FSU, not because I wanted DJU to play badly. He seemed like a decent guy when he was here.

It's not all DJUs fault. Fsu has a whopping 21 yards of rushing on all of 7 carries. Maybe not but it all goes on his stat line...Just like when he throws a 2 yard pass and the WR runs for 48 more...its a 50yrd reception in the stat line The QB gets the blame and the glory.

Something many here will be familiar with, I remember Ladd McKittrick set the school record for the longest touchdown pass! 95 yards or something. I believe he tossed it a few yards to Reggie Bynum and Bynum ran 90+ yards. But I was on my second Bota bag of Old Crow, so that could be way off!

Fun fact: Before 2000, Ladd McKittrick had the two longest passes in Oregon State history. McKittrick still has thrown two of the three longest passes in Beaver history, both to Reggie Bynum. The longer of the two was at Parker on Guy Fawkes Day 1983. Second-and-nine at the Beav eight. McKittrick ran a play-action pass, which may have bought some time to set up the throw. Wazzu ran two high safeties, who guarded the other deep receiver and the tight end. The pass was at least 40 yards in the air right in front of the East Side of Parker. I think the corner on Bynum may have tried to interfere with an obvious big gainer for Bynum but fell down in the process. Bynum caught the ball at the 49 and outran the two safeties the final 51 yards for a touchdown. 92 yards. Oregon State record, breaking the 91-yard McKittrick-to-Bynum pass in Berkeley two games before. (That pass did not result in a touchdown. Bynum actually fumbled at the end of that play, and Tracy Abernathy recovered to preserve the possession.) Both of those passes were in losses, 45-19 to Cal (the final touchdown set up by Bynum's 91-yard reception to make it 28-19 in the third) and 27-9 to Wazzu. (Bynum had the only Oregon State touchdown to pull within 10-7. The Beavs blocked a punt for a safety shortly thereafter to pull within 10-9. All Cougs from there.) Smitty's 97-yard touchdown pass to Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson on October 14, 2000, broke the record for the longest pass in Oregon State history.
