Belmonte's goal was extremely nice - unfortunately the team got a little too excited about it (and the 2-0 lead probably) and let in the lone Anteaters goal about 45 seconds later. Coach Dalby was suspended for the game because of the self reporting of the use of an ineligible player during the NCAA Tournament last season. Overall I was encouraged by what I saw though. Lots of dangerous players going forward, and our defense, aside from the mental lapse after Belmonte's goal, didn't give the 'Eaters many good chances at all. Good start to the season, with 3 consecutive road games against B1G (Washington, Michigan, Michigan State) up next.
