Hi beaver fans, I'm looking forward to finally making my way down to Corvallis for the game. I know we play there every other year but this is the first chance I've had to actually make the trip. If you do happen to see me at tailgate I'll be the one with the red mustang and the large husky flag, you can't miss it. Anyone here's 5 reasons I think MY DAWGS will win Saturday.
1. jack "cobra" browning. he's the best player on the field, enough on that. he has 4 years of high school and 1 of college under his belt and he will do everything he can to win the game.
2. Offensive line. we average 332 across the line, and they are going to dominate the line of scrimmage. Macgeary, Tray Adams, Brostek, Center, Hatchie, Ossai. these boys have an attitude and are ready to rumble.
3. Kawasaki. a new defensive scheme and a new attitude. everyone has spoken about the difference between Kawasaki at Arizona and Kawasaki since then. you will see a much improved defense on 10/23
4. Speed, speed, speed. this is the fastest team uw has had this millennium. Greg Gaines, Dwayne Warshington, Psalm Wooching, John Ross IIIIIIIII, Charlie McClutchins, Devin Aguilar. The newbies will be inexperienced but will provide a whole new dimension this team hasn't had in a long time: speed.
5. time of possession. I think we can win the time of possession battle in this one. the more we can shorten the game and keep our defense off the field the better chance we'll have to win.
I think WASHINGTON wins this one rather easily... say 34-17?

Looks like it's game over, so why bother with playing it. Obviously the puppies are the cream of the universe and the Beavs are just lucky to be able to say they knew them when. The Beavs will come out and gently kiss the ground your puppies walk on and ask forgiveness for daring to take the field. Arrogant dam dog lover, see you in Corvallis!! hehehehe

I agree 117% with your insider analysis:
Cobra Browning having 4 years of high school under his belt will truly be the difference maker Saturday.... At Reser Stadium in Corvallis Oregon.

Jack Browning?

Five reasons Oregon State will win: 1. One of the top image searches for Jack Browning turned up this: If he's the QB, I think we've got a shot. 2. Husky fans will be in Corvallis. We've been discussing all week what factor a low home attendance can have. 3. Every single one of our players went to high school. 4. We don't measure success in wins and losses around here. We win championships in the classroom and in the weight room and in the community. We've already won. 5. In all seriousness, this was a pretty high quality troll job by auburnhusky. Well played.

Feel free to ignore this 'husky' poster -he's a troll who does this all the time. I saw him do the same on the Portland State board before they played UW -- you can recognize him by his passive aggressive little tag line:
I think (fill in the blank) wins this one rather easily... say (fill in the blank)?
Not sure what his angle is but it is annoying.
Best of luck Saturday.

I remember the 1985 game well, was in school at the time. Lot of dejected Dawg fans that day. Also was in attendance at the J. Smith's coming out party game at Husky Stadium, great performance. Maybe my favorite Beav/Dawg game was the 2000 matchup where UW barely escaped with the W ... Beavs were great that year and UW got lucky to win that one. The subsequent beatdown of Notre Dame was fun to watch. Have watched most of the OSU games this year and I like Anderson, and think you guys could be really good in the next few years. Good luck Saturday.

Everyone, this is the same post he put on the old Scout board for years. Originally it was Jake Locker, then Keith Price. The names change but the post is the same year after year. Scout board vets will surely remember.

I guess I don't see the reason for the hostility to the post. Yeah, got the location of the game wrong and "analysis" is not terribly in depth, but I really don't see the reason for the anger over it. So what if he uses the same format over and over? He didn't come on here like a real troll and leave angry, hate-filled comments. He just wanted to sound off (rather politely, I thought) on why UW will win. What is the problem?
