I don't think " the victims of an unprovoked backstabbing attack by money grubbing bastards that has done great harm not only to the athletic departments but the universities themselves while trashing over 100 years of tradition" will fit on a trophy

The Columbia River Trophy. For the natural feature that both divides and unites Oregon and Washington. The issue that you have there is that Corvallis and Pullman are both on the Left Bank of the Columbia River. Pullman is on the Right Bank of the Snake River, the Palouse River being a tributary of the Snake River. The Palouse flows into the Snake. And the Snake flows into the Columbia near Pasco. Oregon State and Wazzu are the two closest FBS universities to the Columbia River, so that could form the basis for the name. And the Columbia River is the largest New World River, which flows into the Pacific Ocean. Having said that, you have the issue that Columbia is named after the Columbia Rediviva, which is ultimately named after Columbus, which dopes may make problematic down the line. Having said that, the Columbia Rediviva is the basis of the Columbia boat, which is at Disneyland. And that Columbia and its namesake are the namesake for the Columbia, which was the Apollo 11 Command Module. And those three served as the basis for the Space Shuttle Columbia, which exploded on February 1, 2003. Seattle is in the Puget Sound basin and is a large and deep saltwater port. As such, Seattle largely, has a completely different makeup and history, than the river towns of Boise, Corvallis, Eugene, Portland, Pullman, and Spokane. I will also say that Seattle was not a part of the United States until the Oregon Treaty between the United Kingdom and United States was signed on June 15, 1846. Up until that time, there was a chance that Seattle and everything else on the Right Bank of the Columbia River would wind up in Canada.
