Oh gawd! Now you've done it... I like the idea of keeping it 'local'..problem is eventually the new ACC/B12/B10 teams will realize the error or their ways...Will try and go local again and will spend their money to create a new West P5 conference and screw us and WSU over again... Or not.. I have a fear of it. A new western, P5 conference with the other 10 teams in the Pac are the biggest fear. I also have a fear that the other 10 schools will stick to their new conferences for football only and create a new western conference with only those 10 teams in every other sport. I'm a pessimist. Once these thoughts get going in my head, they just circulate round and round. I need to think of something else...

Then the Pac 12 is dead. And, for now at least, OSU is a G5 school. Track & Field just finished up on Saturday. Yes, the Lexington Super Regional was the last collegiate event involving a Pac-12 team. R.I.P. Conference of Champions September 1979 - June 9, 2024 And, technically, we were the "last man standing" Didn't the hole, TT game end before ours? Doesn't that make us the last Pac-12 team standing?

Arizona was a big time thud. o was a spectacular crash and burn twice over, and the Beavs Sixth-best season in Oregon State history, second-best without a trip to Omaha. The players were better than the coaching. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many one-run losses, including the finale. Flip one of the earlier one-run losses, the sky is the limit. But it was what it was. Oregon State was not up to beating the #2 country at their place in front of 7K+. Interesting.....So are you saying if Casey had the same players/team he would have gone further? How much further?

And he would have taken the Yankees to at least a Game 7.

1. Cash conquers all.
2. LOTS of cash REALLY conquers all.

Maybe the Dodgers should hire him.
