I'm no damn
expert. But how about quit looking at strikes right across the plate and actually go to the plate with a goal of hitting the ball instead of looking for the perfect pitch to hit over the fence. The bat is actually supposed to be used to hit the ball not to be supported by your shoulder.

This umpire, and I'm sure I'm going to draw the wrath of the 'oh, sure, blame the ump' crowd, has not given the high breaking ball to Kmatz 3 times now. Their guy has gotten it 3 times.
And it's hurt us twice.

Just the statistical likelihood of this team going 12 innings without running into at least a few pitches is hard to handle at the moment.
