I would rather have 2 games on Monday than UCI/Tulane tomorrow and finals Monday. Playing a double header is just hard. It’s a long day at the ball park, especially when you have a 3 hour break in between games. Finals would actually be tomorrow. UCI/Tulane game would be at noon. then the winner would play OSU at like 6 or 7. If they go on as scheduled that is. If not, everything pushed back a day. Otherwise, this regional could stretch until Tuesday if OSU was to lose game on Monday.

Since they are in the regional opposite #2 seed Kentucky, whose currently 2-0 in their regional, and would have to travel back east for a Super Regional. Having as many free days as possible to travel would help. Being able to end the regional on Sunday/Monday would be big help.

The freshman has been tough. I'm glad Baz "got him" but the kid's stuff is good.(for a freshman) That ball was foul. Got a gift from the umpire. Good thing they didn't have an umpire down the line. The home plate and base umpire said differently. So did the TV crew. Honestly, I couldn't tell. At one time in baseball it would have a foul ball, as the ump determined fair or foul where it landed or where he last saw it, not where it passed the foul pole. and it looked as if it landed in foul ground. That rule was changed to the present rule in the 1920s or so but it supposedly cost Babe Ruth some homers. Bazzana's homer on Friday was measured at 440 feet by the stat guys. This one seemed just as long, it cleared the foul pole by a mile.

Losing players for weeks die to broken fingers/wrists isn't worth it for the several times a season they make a difference in base running. Last I checked, players don’t die from broken fingers. Yea, but you have to throw a baseball and swing a bat and broken fingers sure don't help. Just ask Caraway.

I think that you mean KꞰKKKKKKKmatz. Nine Ks. Great to watch! It is also very nice from the standpoint that we won’t have to read on the board until he’ll freezes over about Canham not saving May for Irvine. Just joking. Great coaching. If you can get away with throwing your 1-2 in order it potentially sets up better for next weekend. Kentucky threw 2-1, which worked perfectly for them. I do not think that Dominic Niman would have held Illinois in check like Trey Pooser. Indiana State up 8-1 in the eighth. It looks like we will all become huge Sycamore fans today and tomorrow.

Indiana State running away with their game vs Illinois hopefully helped them save arms for Kentucky.

They are the only top eight seed to lose one of the first two. It is too bad that Oregon State could not win one more game. A 12-seed would have been about right. Then, Oregon State might be looking at hosting a Super as opposed to cheering on Indiana State to upset Kentucky both today and tomorrow.
