Did they get caught stealing in the first and second innings of a do-or-die game, too? I certainly don’t think the inconsistencies are an indication that we need new coaches. But something is off. I'm not even sure either one of them were stealing. Micah especially just looked like he got a little too aggressive and early with his secondary lead. Either way, that's not a coaching thing. These guys have been running bases long enough that that is on them. Dallas looked like he was picked off trying to run on the pitcher's first movement. That could have been called by the coaches, or it could've been Dallas thinking he had a read on the pitcher and trying to run on him. That's the danger with running against Lefty's though if the pitcher has a "hang move" which he got Dallas with. I didn't honestly see MMD's but sounds like his was just a case of being caught leaning.

IMO, the Beavers' inconsistency is baseball. The 1927 Yankees lost 44 times even with the Murderers' Row. And this Oregon State team has a better winning percentage than them. Did they get caught stealing in the first and second innings of a do-or-die game, too? I certainly don’t think the inconsistencies are an indication that we need new coaches. But something is off. 1926 World Series. Game 7. Cards 3 - Yanks 2. Two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Babe Ruth was thrown out at second by Bob O'Farrell to end the season.

IMO, the Beavers virtually unreal inconsistency is, at least in part and IMO, symptomatic of some deeply-rooted and chronic problems with the way the program is being run. IMO, your ability to make a meaningful statement about the team is symptomatic of some deeply-rooted and chronic problems with your powers of diagnosis. ⚾️
