Looking more and more like 4 SEC, 2 ACC, Eastern and us.
ACC probably gets 6 regional and SEC probably gets 7-8 depending on how well LSU finishes.

Committee has plugged Stanford in as a top 8 seed seemingly to keep a west cost Super host, but would be interesting to see in our case. Polls/"eye test"/human factor has had us as a top 8 all year where the computers like us less so a total toss up at this point. Sweep UCLA and win the series against UA is *probably* enough. Anything less than that and I wouldn't keep our hopes up. |

That would be logical but the process just isn't. If they don't put us in the farthest west super site would likely be Arkansas. It would also probably mean 7 of 8 seeds are from the ACC and SEC. |

Outside of some big teams really flopping the last two weeks I don't think it would.be justifiable for a 14 loss 60 something SOS team getting a regional seed. |

The complicating factor to me appears to be Santa Barbara. The last time that Santa Barbara was this good (2015) they hosted, but they did not get a national seed. Santa Barbara hosted in Lake Elsinore, too, because Santa Barbara could not host in Santa Barbara. That is actually were Virginia came from to win the National Championship. I am curious if they would make Santa Barbara a top eight seed, given their stadium. I would think that they would make every effort to try and give Oregon State the benefit of the doubt. Santa Barbara might also be a one-seed non-host somewhere. |

With that, I'm pretty sure OSU won't get as much help from other top teams. I wrote up (and lost it🙄) every teams' remaining scheduled who has an RPI below OSU's. Almost all, except Indiana St. & ECar, have better to much better schedules filled with top RPI games. OSU will have to go 6-1 and win the Pac12 then hope the committee wants a Top 8 in the West. It truly appears 7 of 8 spots will be ACC/SEC. But, a team has to beat great teams at some point. A Top 8 isn't a necessity to advance. Top 8 eliminated before CWS...
