Good win. Good battle throughout. Wasn’t easy, but we needed to prove to ourselves we could finish it. Let’s grow from this win and prepare to beat the s%#t out of the Dirty Ducks this weekend. I want so badly for the Beavs to pound the rich, entitled Ducks at Goss one last time before they bail on us.

And this is how it starts. A lengthy win streak? Yeah. Yes!!! That’s certainly what I was referring to! Ha ha Thank you.

I didn't realize UP was doing so well. That dropped them to 85th which is just barely a neutral site Q3 win. If they finish out strong their games would be Q2 wins.

They have some very solid weekend pitchers, and can compete with a lot of teams. They ten runned Oregon once this season already.

Bazanna. Perhaps the worst base runner that’s a great player in the history of baseball. I suggest you do a Google search on "Babe Herman."

Guerra has really been struggling at the plate. Went from hitting .330 a few weeks ago all the way down in the .270s now. Need his bat, especially with no Caraway option at present. Last 6 PAC-12 games he's 3 for 22....and that includes 2 HR at Cal. on 4/19. His huge swing, no matter the count or the game situation, has never excited me. Each season there's an OSU starting player that causes me to shudder a bit when they come up to bat in a key situation. Unfortunately this season, that player is Guerra.

They were in 1st place until last weekend going 1-2 at Gonzaga. Now Gonzaga leads WCC, UP is 1.5 games back with a more favorable schedule down the stretch. Speaking of scheduling, Gonzaga's final week is ambitious and includes us: Fr-Su. @ Pacific, Mo..vs OSU, Tu. vs USC, Fr-Su vs Pepperdine. 8 games in 10 days.

Guerra makes me insane! The guy is huge can hit the ball a mile + but he rarely swings at the first pitch. I think everyone knows it and right down the middle it comes. Likely the best pitch at bat. Last night I would have bet $1000 the 3/2 pitch would be a breaking ball on the outside. How did I know? He missed two before by a mile. Dang, he can be a great hitter but now who knows.

His career K rate is pretty much the same as his BA... his streaky good at best and a below average defender (below .950 at one time... maybe still?). Basically the persona of this team... high SLG% and a high K%... in conference it is even worse as BA is the same as strikeout average. Either "on fire" or a ton of watching or swing and miss.
