Baz didn't have a great week end. I wonder if that wrist is bothering him. Hope he is back for the Cal. It’s bothering him as of 10 minutes ago. If he is back for Cal we are lucky as hell. We have seen that happen to our guys before and it rarely ends well (Caraway and Boyd are two that come to mind). If we lose Baz for the next month or two, I would think our chances at a top 8 seed is damn near out the window. No offense to guys like Caraway, Kasper, Boyd, McDowell, who are all damn good players, but replacing them is not like replacing Baz. The production he brings, similar to Rutchman, is irreplaceable. Baz is legendary status for us right now, and you don’t replace legendary with a good player from the bench. I’m not saying we aren’t deep enough to stay top 16 and host a regional, but I have a very difficult time seeing us as a top 8 team without Baz. Remember we still have to play Oregon and Arizona, who are arguably the second and third best teams in the pac, and we still have really tough road trips to WSU and Cal, those are not easy wins in my mind.

Jaren “the head” Hunter. His new nickname due to his proclivity for hitting batters.

really need to work on base running mistakes Only 3 outs on the bases tonight. On the other hand, it is good to see Travis out cheering on the Beavers.

Trosky just saved Hunter's A$$$ See we're fine without Baz
And in true Baz fashion he follows it up with a base running blunder, he's a spitting image!

Why let him start the inning? Maybe he could have lucked into getting an out. At least he's pulled after one batter.

A little early to jump to conclusions. I agree, as long as he isn’t hurt seriously. If he is all good and he was just taken out for precautionary reasons, then none of this is relevant. If it is broken, I stand by the fact that us staying top 8 will be very difficult.
