Walks aren't much if the hits don't follow. "aren't much..." Agreed - but they are SOMETHING. Stanford staff pitched 8 innings threw 189 pitches. Beavs pitched 9 innings, threw 148 pitches. Might come in handy tomorrow. |

As much as I love this offense I think there is definitely room for improvement. The lack of situational hitting is gonna bite us in the a$$ come June. I know Kasper will get back up to speed but we also need McDowell and Caraway back ASAP and ready to go for crunch time. Right now this lineup is good not great. We need great come playoff time. Huge props to Webber stepping up big time by the way. He’s been the spark plug we needed with those guys out. |

We are 29 and 4....!!! The big news this weekend is we've cleaned up the defense and our pitching is improving by the week. 2 solid outings in a row for Kmatz, May was very good last night and our closer has not allowed a run all year. I'd love to see a strong outing from tomorrow's starter. We've got seven Pac-12 home games left and it's over forever. Time for us to take in the moment and be greatful for all of it!
