OSU's base running is killing me. Shouldn't have tagged up on the one and not try the steal on the other. 2 possible runs there.

Kmatz allows another hit but runner caught stealing. 59 pitches for 18 outs. 3.3 pitches per out is extremely good for a starter.

I think Reeder might have a case for starter and leadoff next year. I know his average isn't incredible as of yet but he can bunt, has wheels, can hit away from shifts. If he can mature his plate discipline a bit with more starts hes going to be very effective. It was a quality bunt. |
