Six strong pitching performances(my evaluation) in 2 games against a team that beat the #15 team in the country twice just a week ago. Huskies aren’t strong hitters, but their pitching has been decent. Get the sweep tomorrow, Beavers. Pretty sure we see their other pitching talent tomorrow.

Some records... Runs Game. ...... 36, 1985 vs. Chico State (36-12) At Bats Game. .......................74, 1972 vs. Washington 74 AB is impressive, especially when you factor that Walks and Errors don't count as AB. Errors count as an at-bat.

Hearing rumors that Washington will give TB an intentional walk to lead off the game tomorrow.

Hearing rumors that Washington will give TB an intentional walk to lead off the game tomorrow. 4 in a row would be cool though.

Turley showing why he's worth the wait. Maybe it was your Zen like explanation. Was it Zen-like? Perhaps Suzuki Roshi is rubbing off on me. lol

go three innings and finish a win, you get a save. have the tying run in the on-deck circle (when you enter the game), you get the save. I think there is one more situation, but I'm not remembering I had to look it up: A relief pitcher recording a save must preserve his team's lead while doing one of the following: Enter the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitch at least one inning. Enter the game with the tying run in the on-deck circle, at the plate or on the bases. Pitch at least three innings. So the only way Hunter could have earned a "save" today entering the game with a 10 run lead was to pitch 3 full innings and preserve the lead which he accomplished in fine fashion.

74 AB is impressive, especially when you factor that Walks and Errors don't count as AB. Errors count as an at-bat. You are right. I was thinking not counting as hit, I guess. Still impressive to get 74 AB in a game though.
