Nevada had a 99.5% change of winning it. Dayton went on a 17-0 run to tie it. Then, Lucas hit a jumper to go back up two. 17-0 run in 4:51: Nevada fouls. Dayton Free throw, 56-40. Nevada misses three-pointer. Dayton hits a three-pointer, 56-43. Dayton steals. Dayton scores a layup, 56-45 Nevada offensive foul. Nevada defensive foul. Two made free throws, 56-47. Nevada misses three-pointer. Dayton hits a three-pointer, 56-50. Jump ball. Dayton steals. Dayton hits a three-pointer, 56-53. Lucas misses a three pointer. Offensive rebound. Nevada misses a second three-pointer. Dayton hits a three-pointer 56-56. Lucas scored seven straight Nevada points and 10 of 12 points from 46-35 up to 58-56. Warren Washington playing for Texas Tech. His 4th school. He should be a doctor by now. Washington injured his foot Lincoln's Birthday and has only played 13 minutes since. Washington came off the bench to finish with six points, eight rebounds, a block, and two turnovers. Like Davis and Lucas, Washington's Texas Tech lost. His season is over. |
