How much of this was due to the timing of Caitlin Clark bringing a ton of eyes to women's basketball?.....us being relegated to the WCC.....this group of gals wanting to capitalize, instead of grinding in the WCC.

Now I am confused.Facebook rumor we, OSU, are headed to the Big 12? Another Facebook (Vicky) rumor is we have another Euro recruit signed, not name of info yet.

The ironic thing is that it appears loyalty is a one way street to these ladies, especially Dono. When she was injured multiple times, wasn't it Coach Rueck who was there for her. checking in with her, and keeping open lines of communication. I believe he offered her a scholarship and did not pull it despite knee injuries when other schools did. |

She needs a good year more to get settled in with her set of skills. OSU afforded that in her developement, sad. |

I'm looking at the Oregon State Women's Facebook page (Vicki's) and I see nothing referring to another recruit, can you provide a link, take a screen shot or copy the text to help us with that. Realize that there is a photo of Marie Gulich in her orange uni there. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Rueck is going after several foreign players at this point.
Makes sense because of the rules and he's had so much success with them in the past.
Hopefully Dom stays as well.
Put together a team that has a chance at being one of the better ones in the WCC for now and see what happens in the near future as far as conference landing spot.

You have tried to establish yourself as a knowledgeable contributor on this board - and if you have, your comment is even more negative and hurtful because it supposedly is coming from someone who knows what he's talking about. Your comment is little more than gossip; it's designed to denigrate someone we all know, yet it provides no evidence. No reason. No justification. Hunter played in every game the last half of the season, she was in at crunch time for every important game. If there was something negative about her it certainly did not affect Rueck's assessment of her value to the team. At any rate, in my view your post was second rate and it deserves to be gone. Enough said? GO BEAVS!! Concord was obviously speaking from their experience. And you are saying that she's a sport star so no one can say anything except nice things about her? I've been told by people who've known Dono for years that she is sweet and caring person who for good reason has developed a thick protective layer that can be hard to deal with. But she has been with her teammates long enough that I think she trusts them and my perception is that they all like her. Good enough recommendation as a person I think. |

To the Group.
I Offer you an apology. I am an old guy new to this format and struggling to think things through. For example. I have no insider OSU WBB information. I do have an embarrassingly horrible ease dropping habit at a coffee shop across the street from Gill, or in airport while waiting area when going to away games, and hotel lobbies.
Occasionally I overhear things I shouldn’t repeat. But, like a 10-year kid I let fly and I shouldn’t. I hope you catch my drift and except my apology.
