TvO makes SC instantly better. The addition of Kiki and TvO to the USC squad makes SC a top 3 team next season. Potentially a strong complementary piece for USC if she cuts down on the sloppy play and starts hitting her shots.

I'm just happy that Beers did not sign on at UCONN.... That would have aggravated the hell out of me....The rich blue-bloods don't need to be pilfering OSU recruited and coached players.... They've got enough talent pipelines without tapping into Corvallis.... GO BEAVS!!

Interesting. Over twenty years career, I went to a bunch of WCC games at PSU. WCC Teams appeared smaller, quicker, than PAC/8/10/12 teams. University of Portland was like the prototype WCC. My thought is our current five will thrive next season. If you went to PSU, you saw Big Sky Conference games. The WCC plays at the University of Portland. I taught at PSU from early 90's to retirement five years ago. Yes, of course we played in the Big Sky. However many our non conference games every year were against WCC teams with UoP, Gonzaga, being the biggest games of the year, + San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Pacific.

I have no problem with our decision to partner with the WCC. Play in the best league possible and always leave yourself two options to reach the NCAA tournament: At-large and automatic berth.

TVO to USC. So she goes on her big tour and then picks USC in the end anyway. She might find that she'll be sitting on the bench if she has those stretches of cold shooting or sloppy turnovers. It could be a little bit of a shock to her in general when she realizes that she's not the focal point of the fanbase anymore. me and TVO think you guys are just a bunch of haters (wink)

I know she said stuff about haters on X and you're probably making light of it a little bit. I just think she's been very look at me, look at me, look at me during this whole process and seems to be someone that most OSU fans had no idea she was while she was with the Beavers. I also think she never lived up to the star billing that so many OSU fans gave her so quickly, nor was she really ever that player.

My kid used to be a big TVO fan. Now she's just eww.

Talia made a mockery of the process. When she entered the Portal, it was obvious she was going to USC where her boyfriend transferred to play football. But before she can do that, she’s got to get her trips lined to to a bunch of big name schools because it helps her brand and she gets treated like a Queen. There was never going to be much money for her, for two reasons. She’s a 5th year senior and only one year to play, not a ton of leverage and the real reason, she’s not that good or consistent. Foot speed isn’t good, defense /effort is inconsistent, her shooting comes and goes. Great court vision and hunt juju and Kiki will benefit from that for sure. It’s a pretty good fit for her and USC, but why the world tour to get to this point?

Went to OSU women's softball game today. Good to see Lilly there. Also, good to see president of the university Dr. Murthy there also. Lilly supposedly already committed to indiana. Someone could nicely ask her how she is doing and if she is having second thoughts. Lily posted some pics on X a little while ago re: her visit to Iowa State, and a follow up message re: "Visit 2 loading" with a hint by way of school colors. Seems she is not having second thoughts from those posts. Go Beavers!

It could be a little bit of a shock to her in general when she realizes that she's not the focal point of the fanbase anymore. She has nothing to post on social if she doesn't. TVO is all about posting about herself. Get some free trips, posts some BS images that were never going to come to fruition, and land where everyone knew she was going in the first place. And to add... she'll be limited in PT unless she becomes a lot quicker and commits less TO's. She has the experience but USC added the #1 recruiting class and when I watched the vids a couple months back it is loaded with high quality guards that can move and shoot it. By mid season she will be an after thought. #6 overall Kimberly Smith (6'1" from Cali) is a G/W, who is ultra athletic, a slasher that shoots the 3 very well. A McD's AA, 5* that lead B2B open state champs 20.2, 7.5 R, 2.2 A, 1.9 steals, 1.8 blocks; #13 overall, Kayleigh Heckel (5'9" from NY) very fast in transition and gets to the rim and high pressure on D. Another 5*, at 16.6, 8.3 A, 3.1 steals; #16 overall, Avery Howell (5'11" from Boise) a 5*, is seen as a true leader, extremely tough defender, rebounder, and a shot well beyond the 3 pt line... 21.2, 10.6 R, 2.3 A, 3.0 steals; #54 overall Rian Forestier (5"11" from TX)a 4*, has a very solid overall game (25.8, 13.9 R, 4.4 A, 4.1 steals, 2.5 blocks), supposedly a great facilitator and shoots the 3 well... Unranked, 3* Brook Shamblin (5'9") is a very fast, underrated combo guard; Not going to effect TVO, but USC also signed #47 overall, 6'3" F Vivian Iwuchukwu, and #92 Laura Williams (6'1", F) to go along with Kiki; USC returns: Sophomore guard JuJu Watkins (No. 2 in Division I with 27.1 points per game in 2023-24) Senior center Rayah Marshall (averaged a double-double in back-to-back seasons) Senior center Clarice Akunwafo (nine career starts over three seasons) Redshirt junior guard Dominique Darius (2.5 points per game in 19 games last season) Sophomore guard Malia Samuels (23 games, one start during freshman year) Redshirt sophomore guard Aaliyah Gayles (former No. 8 overall recruit) That's a pretty gurad heavy roster with LOTS of talent and speed.
