Went to OSU women's softball game today. Good to see Lilly there. Also, good to see president of the university Dr. Murthy there also.

I don't have facebook - but was able to look at the Beavers Behind Enemy Lines page... the poster said Dom. I didn't scroll deep enough to see if Dono is also mentioned. Maybe those with FB can snoop more. GO BEAVS! Only Dom Paurova is mentioned in the post. Can’t find anything on FB or anywhere supporting this “ rumor” about Dom….

Catarina Ferreira, a 6-0 wing from Baylor, appears to have been another visitor.

Both visitors are foreign players with very unimpressive resumes from the schools they are departing..
Someone earlier posted that Foreign players are not eligible for NIL $ - I wonder if this is a factor in what is going on....
These players mentioned thus far obviously have some talent - but neither of them have demonstrated it in any meaningful way in their careers playing NCAA ball.... GO BEAVS!!

Why would foreign players be exempt from NIL? And I'm sure we have some NIL sitting around.

Foreign Players are ineligible for NIL money because they are here on a student visa.

Would welcome any of them back. Remember these are young adults making big decisions with sometimes not the best advise. Why not welcome them back sometimes a young adult isn’t given the best advise by older mentors or advisors.

Foreign Players are ineligible for NIL money because they are here on a student visa. That is my understanding as well, but I wonder if it is absolute. I would think they would be allowed to earn some minimal amount for everyday expenses. But I don't know.

This is interesting to me (student visa and NIL), so I went hunting. Here is an interesting article on the topic. This might explain why Dom is advertising in the Twitter-sphere: "Some of the nation’s most sophisticated collective management companies have been able to bypass the restrictions of F-1 student visas. One Penn State collective was able to passively license Canadian athletes’ NIL for billboards in their home country. While these endorsements require additional care and financial investment to ensure compliance with passive licensing principles, they can be helpful tools for collectives to attract and retain elite international talent." Go Beavers!

Mark Twain quote: "If I owned Oklahoma and Hell, I would live in Hell and rent out Oklahoma". I was once asked, "Do you know what happens when a Texan moves to Oklahoma?" "The IQ of both States increases." I've heard it could be applied to others. But, that's just hearsay.

Here are Ferreira's stats at Baylor last season.
Minutes: 5.1 PTS 1.2 REB 1.1 AST 0.3 FG% 50.0
To be blunt, I am skeptical of the quality of transfers we are going to be able to recruit given our current situation. We need to get enough players to fill out the roster to run a practice and field a hopefully somewhat competitive team.
