Aaand many more… some with memes and videos, you got the idea. Thank you. Not an X person. This all reinforces that decision.

I don't think the UConn coaches or players give a rat's ass about what political party RB belongs to. They are smart enough to know that she's a great person and a great player that could very well be the difference for them to win it all next year!

VanSlooten to MSU.(Spartans) Another case of a player going somewhere close to home. She is from Ohio along the southern border of Michigan and not too far from Lansing. Just a guess but look for Colorado's Vonleh to sign with UO or OS since she is from the Portland area.

She only moved to Oregon just before HS because her brother was playing for the Trailblazers.

However, the latest gossip on X is Raegan may go to Colorado. Interestingly Uconn players are now following Raegan on Instagram but she doesn’t follow them back.

If true, that might explain why Vonleh jumped in the portal

It seems that has been a very popular thing to do since Smith bolted, but honestly, it’s played. So played. I disagree. Its making a statement. Why do we care where our former players, who left en masse, end up? I get that this is a transfer portal thread, so it's appropriate, but seriously, she bailed......I'm more interested in who is staying, and coming in.

The climax of the who? bit was when he who shall not be named left......probly shoulda let it die there. Still, the players who planned a coordinated bail......just not gonna care where they go. And maybe I'm petty....so be it. I think it was lame, and I don't wanna hear that I'm a "hater" for feeling that way.

I am trying to remind myself that circumstance and social/sports changes contributing greatly to the fine personage Raegan Beers departing for "greener" pastures. And trying hard (and not necessarily succeeding) to not be petty about it. Try as hard as I can to mishear her name as the stint of the 40th President (Reagan Years), or the drinks consumed in that era by those who weren't a fan of the actor-turned-president (Reagan Beers), the vignette now stuck in my head comes from re-watching the Utah@Gill game's 2nd and 3rd quarters this past weekend, trying to get closure on the Elite 8 departure.....at some point a Beaver and Ute took a tumble in the paint bodying up for the rebound, and the "swiffer kid" was summoned to mop up the sweat on the floor. Said swiffer person was distracted chatting with a friend under the basket, so it took her a moment. But after she was all done mopping, Raegan took the time to thank her verbally and high fived her for her contributions. It made swiffer kid's day. It made my day. And then I was filled with a sense of loss. These players I am trying to think petty thoughts about are still fine human beings, and a moment ago we were all celebrating how they were wonderful representatives of what the OSU Beavers are all about. Does all that change just because they chose to pursue their own self-enlightened interests? The Pac-12 implosion gutted me, and I am just a fan.....I can't imagine what it did to the players. I have to pick anger or grief, I guess, so I think mostly petty thoughts.....
Go Beavers!

She really embraced OSU. I'm sure it was hard on her to make the decision she did, but she did it. It just sucks that this group couldn't stick it out and be "Americas team".....relegated by a defunct Pac 12, taking on the world to get to the final 4.....it would've been a great story line for the girls, program, university. Instead, they chose themselves. And that's fine, just not gonna celebrate it. We are left to pick up the pieces....who's gonna step up for Rueck next? That's really all I care about.

I can tell you, 2nd hand, from a couple folks in recruiting that bid for and were unsuccessful to get Beers to their school... Reagan is not the problem. Let's just say is said that Reagan has not gotten to make too many "life altering" type decisions on her own.

My understanding from a 2nd and a 3rd hand source (yeah, don't put a huge amount of trust in it) is that the interest in going in the portal matches the order that they announced going into the portal. ie Beers and Dom were the least interested in it. Also Dom really wasn't happy about this, so who knows she may change her mind. But I wouldn't bet on it.
