The end of the Belton match sums up the lackluster & frustrating performance by the Beavs. Win the match, get your hand rasied and walk off the mat. Lose the match, walk off and do the same. Take the high road. OSU got docked a team point for that incident; which in the end didn't matter, we didn't have enough to pass Ark LR.
It's sad to see your back up 157 take more shots than your returning AA 125. BK gets exactly what he deserves. Has to wait for Wednesday, selection show for an at large bid to NCAA's. And the at large will probably send him up against a top 5 or 6 seed in his weight in Kansas City.
I was frustrated that the 165 and 174 semis didn't go our way. 174, we had no defense on bottom and Little Rock draped over us like an afgan blanket for 3+ minutes. Also frustrating is waiting around for minutes for the other guy to shoot, then get in a scramble only to lose that position and points.
Falls by Boone in the semi, & Gabe/Justin in their first matches were highlights for me.

Fouret and Mason had a rough tourney. I think the coaches will be very active in the portal to bring in some hammers. BK….man what a frustrating tournament. Felt like he was wrestling trying not to lose rather than to win and it bit him in the end. I’m holding out hope that Trey can win it all this year. Would make a disappointing pac 12 tourney sting less |
