Mejia relieves Mundt, gives up the lead on a 2 run bomb on his first pitch, gets an inning ending ground out 2 pitches later to end the top half of the inning, then gets the W. Baseball is funny like that.

Just my opinions, but we are a better team with Trosky at SS. Krieg is monster and should be playing everyday. The real question mark for this team is Starting Pitching.

Just my opinions, but we are a better team with Trosky at SS. Krieg is monster and should be playing everyday. The real question mark for this team is Starting Pitching. No we are not. Hainline hit bottom at .056 after the 2/23 Arkansas game. Since then he's 9-22 (.409), with four doubles, seven RBIs, seven walks and nine runs. He's a much better offensive player than Trosky, and will hit .320 or so this year. Yes, he had two errors on Friday. But in the end, his offense will more than make up for an occasional defensive lapse. Shortstop was a black hole offensively for us last year. That can't happen this year. |

Hainline has to hit. I still believe Trosky is far better defender. Great hands and turns the ball over better. Hitting you have me there. Just my opinion.
