She smiles a lot here. If you don't like Kennedy, don't watch this. It seems that her decision to go to Duke worked out well for her, although statistically, her numbers didn't change much from when she left OSU. Her shooting percentage was a bit better this year but she was a better rebounder for Oregon State. I always liked Kennedy and had high hopes for her game, but her and Oregon State didn't seem to click. Best of luck to her. Interesting that Coach Kara called Kennedy their starting center the last two years....the position she really didn't want to play entering college. Of course, most of us change our majors along the way too.

I would love if the beaver women played Texas and/or Duke this tournament season . 👏🦫🏀 I actually want no part of either team. Both get after it on defense and ugly up the game. See enough of that from various Pac 12 teams. Would rather avoid if at all possible in the Tourney.

You’re going to have to play and beat the best teams. Bring ‘em on. Plus, in Duke’s case, Aleah is a former assistant. She knows what they run and how they operate.

But, my opinion also includes not wanting to hear all the potential trash talk about young women who are former Beavers.

She also had a nice game in the upset win against ranked Syracuse. She was Duke's high scorer (with 12) in that low-scoring game, 58-45.

Brown has had a solid year for Duke. In hindsight, she made the right choice transferring because she probably would have had her minutes cut in half at OSU and come off the bench to back up Raegan (albeit valuable because our depth at the 5 is lacking).
Texas and Duke don’t really worry me more than any of the other 2 and 7-seeds so I can’t say I’d really prefer to avoid them. Maybe Duke because they have a lot of raw talent for a 7-seed.
