I still think Hainline will be a big contributor this season, but the Beavers have been impressive today. Heck, I am subdued today with concern about May’s injury, but Beavers are playing their best game of the season.

Not much to complain about today. Excellent game! Plus we got a mercy rule in on the season which is always a good sign.

The post game with Turley was actually funny. The announcers obviously wanted the usual responses, but Gavin was very succinct. I liked it.

Great win today, bats back to how we expect them to perform. Kmatz was brilliant. You never see double digit K’s from him. Love that we got out of it in 7 innings because now we have a ton of arms to throw at Oklahoma State. If we can go 3-1 this week with the competition we faced, with the only loss a one run game to the number two team in the country, I’ll absolutely take it.
With a home series against NDSU next weekend, we have the potential to get our season off to an 11-1 start.

The win over Michigan is the first 10-run rule game since the win over UC Santa Barbara. The game ended after Guerra doubled home Bazzana and Turley. |
