Failure to support the program very well could lead to failure in hiring a good replacement. You don't need to hire a good replacement. A below-average replacement is where to baseline from, since it's better than Wayne. NIL donors want a coach to believe in, to trust, to gain confidence from...that's not Wayne. That's just plain dumb. Look at Tinkle's qualifications when he came versus any othe basketball coach we hired since the program went south. They were actually pretty good. The anybody but Tinkle argument is just dumb. |

Next year affiliated with the wcc will tinkle be the 2nd highest paid coach behind few? Tinkle will be overpaid, earning more than Few by a fairly substantial amount. Them's the breaks after the contract signatures dried. Who'd have thought back then that the Beavers would be playing in the WCC ? Contracts rarely go backwards. Tinkle has made some concessions in the past, maybe he'll do some again n but there's no legal reason to do it. |

I enjoyed the hell out of the UA/ASU weekend...and to a lesser extent, the winnable game vs fUCLA.
With 10 years (large sample) of "Tinkle-Data" ....the outcome today is not suprising.
We are simply Reverting to the Mean.
***In statistics, regression toward the mean (also called reversion to the mean, and reversion to mediocrity) is the phenomenon where if one sample of a random variable is extreme (UA/ASU, Elite 8) the next sampling of the same random variable is likely to be closer to its mean.

You want to see a very good coach, watch Kyle Smith at wazzu. Actually watch his team. Paid substantially less than tinkle. In April I went to Vegas and paid 22 bucks for a hamburger, that wasn't as good as some hamburgers that cost less I had elsewhere. Too bad. I made the contract when I ordered it, accepted it, and took the second bite. It wasn't a horrible hamburger, I've had worse, bit it was mediocre at best and a let down. That's the breaks. |

Somehow teams like utah st, Colorado St, Nevada can have successful teams on a mountain west budget. By spending next-to-nothing on football and loading up on basketball. Yes. If you would be happy with a Mountain West level football team, that really opens up our options. |

After tonight there is a bright side we don't have last all to ourselves. Still have the tiebreaker over USC. Oregon State would play Colorado as opposed to Utah, if the Pac-12 Tournament started today. Winner between Colorado and Oregon State would play Wazzu Yea Team!!! Go Team!!! |

If you would be happy with a Mountain West level football team, that really opens up our options. Well we have two years to be something other than mountain west for football. Clock is ticking. |

Does it matter? We just got hammered by what was the worst team. You expecting the Beavs to win the pac12 tourney? Funny thing is, there are posters that honestly do.
