One step ahead of the NCAA, the Pete Carroll playbook I would call it the Chip Kelly playbook. I don’t recall any sanctions being levied against Pete himself, but Kelly was slapped with a “Show cause” penalty and would not have been allowed to coach at hole if he hadn’t gone to the NFL.

Jim harbaugh.....otherwise known as the dooshy one in the family. It's pretty bad when your brother is John Harbaugh, and YOU are considered the douchebag of the family.

Outstanding football coach. Social misfit. So, like GAG without the outstanding part? Yes, but in a much different way. Not sure which is worse!

Outstanding football coach. Social misfit. Except against tOSU until he started cheating.

Outstanding football coach. Social misfit. Except against tOSU until he started cheating. He won 3 in a row. When do you think he started cheating?

I just don't really respect Ryan Day as a head coach. He isn't the quality of a Jim Tressel or Urban Meyer.

Your comprehension is not very good. I didn’t saying losing to them got him the good recruits. Just that it took time to get the recruits. I don’t like Harbaugh or Day by the way.

Sure, you didn't say it, but it's there right in front of you. 5 straight years getting whooped by tOSU. How do you recruit with that blemish? How do you get better recruits?
Was it the recruits? Was it the coaching? Was it the cheating?
(There's ALWAYS cheating. There's always something underhanded going on with successful teams. Sometimes the NCAA turns a blind eye. Sometimes they can't prove it. Sometimes they punish.)
