Geez, this thing is out of control. A bunch of rich, probably wanna be players using the college athletes like pawns in their game. Not college football. Not cool.

Like the nfl there needs to be a salary cap. Just like there is a max on scholarships, a max on the number of coaches, etc...

The number of coaches does not implicate the Sherman Antitrust Act. The only reason that it works in the NFL is because the NFL Players were unionized and agreed on the salary cap. If you allowed the college players to unionize, then something like that could happen. Otherwise, it violates the Sherman Antitrust Act. If you want to get around the Sherman Antitrust Act, you need an act from Congress.

Can't have a cap if their not employees as it is not "salary". It is one of the exemptions the NCAA clown "boss" wants from Congress to set up his new plan for school initiated NIL. Which solves nothing as the initial court case specifies you can't limit a player's ability to earn on their NIL. Plus the NCAA in charge of anything is a waste of time.

The court case says that the NCAA falls under the ambit of the Sherman Antitrust Act. Therefore, you cannot limit an individual's ability to earn on an NIL. But the Sherman Antitrust Act was created by Congress. It is part of Congress' Article I power. The courts cannot invalidate congressional action on this specific subject, as long as Congress does not violate something else.

Like the nfl there needs to be a salary cap. Just like there is a max on scholarships, a max on the number of coaches, etc... While there is a salary cap in the NFL, there is no limit on the amount players can make through endorsements. The NIL right now is more like the endorsement side.

I also want to know what percentage of grad transfers get a Master's degree.
