Trey v Plott, match of the night. Plott was the one Mateo took out last year in Gill and sent the fans into a frenzy

Ok State wins all 4 Overtime matches.
The theme of this dual was not finishing shots. We were in on so many shots that we could not finish... in some cases we got countered off of our good shots and ended up getting taken down.

Random thoughts:
- I get that guys like Smith and Brands are legends but they are so annoying to watch during a dual, lol. Just constant complaining and theatrics. Speaking of theatrics - probably no need to have a police officer stepping between Pendleton and the refs.
- Felt like ESPN could have moved the mic a little further away from the angry mom's and we would have all been better off.
- Whisenhunt has faced 5 of the top 10. I think Little Rock's 133 is also in the top 10. Been a tough road, but will pay dividends down the line.
- Would love to see a little more offensive pressure at 149 and 157. Feel like they were just waiting to counter.
- We've got to be the only team to face Iowa, Ok State and Penn State in duals. Love it.
- Moral victories stink, but we're really not that far away. Nearly every loss was tight with the exception of Fix, but he's on another level.

Yep agree... some guys have good defense that keeps them in matches until the end, but can't get the scoring they need from their offense to close out the match. Luckily we are very young, the kids are coachable and we have a great staff. Every loss was close, but we went 0-4 in OT and should have won two of those at least when we were in on good shots and got out scrambled. More lessons to learn, but we will get there. Being this battle tested will serve us well in the post season. Coaches will be working on these things and the kids will be ready to go.
