Charlotte has some large OL on their current roster. No idea how well they are coached. This kid had a bunch of accolades coming out of HS.

Was he injured in 2023? Don't see any playing time on Charlotte's site.

I’m at the point where any offensive lineman sounds good to me. DeVan has his work cut out for him.

Couldn't think of one guy I'd rather have to replace "M" than him. May take his awhile, but I have no doubt he will rebuild our Oline to the level it has been this year. Now I'm waiting for KJ to work his magic!

He’s a 2nd degree black belt too! A 312 pound 2nd degree black belt is quite a force.

That reminds me of the dude in the original "Longest Yard" movie who was doing a karate form while wearing chains. "We get to hit the guards?"

Yeah, it looks like we are getting a number of OL that grade out about the same - in the mid 3 range. I'm optimistic that if we can bring in a good group of 5-7 of these types that a few will emerge and develop into solid lineman.

We've got a pile of high 3 star soph/frosh Vinic 88 White 87 Esty 87 Anderson 87 Sikorski 87 (incoming) Lopez 86 Elu 86 Strand 86 Transfers Lictenhan 82 (86 transfer) Van Wells 85 (86 transfer) Starck 83 (88 transfer) Unrated CC Gonzales Pretty much all these guys are P4 size at the very least. Who will step up and develop is anyones guess but most of them have been behind very talented linemen the last two years and even if they had been more talented than current linemen experience and cohesion always wins on line roster decisions when talent is close. I'd say the only lock at this point is Starck.

I would agree that we are not empty... but we also did not look good in the bowl game. Hopefully some of these guys will emerge into bonafide legit starters - I would agree on Starck but I would also say that Lectenhan might be another one.

Can always use guys through the portal with experience.

The offensive line depth chart and recruiting has always been kind of crazy. Seems like a lot of the higher rated players often times get passed up by lower rated ones. Strand came in with very few offers and wasn’t rated and he jumped up to the #2 LT. I would say DeVan might have the most work today as a position coach. Definitely need to add some depth. Oline is definitely my biggest concern so far.
