Pope is so fun to watch when he’s on.

Good effort, nice to see them take care of business before the start of conference play

Wow! A comfortable win and not much chatter on here about it imagine that! 😉
In all seriousness though it's good to see a double digit win going into conference play. Rest up over the holiday and come out and get UCLA.

Over-under was 130.5 points. That last-second prayer of a 3 to get it to 133 points was a total bad beat.

Figures because of the start time, the one home game I miss completely is the one comfortable one. I'll take it though!

I said pregame that I liked the matchup with Idaho St’s two frontcourt players, and the Beavs contained Parker the whole time. Huie had nice numbers for the game, but Beavs shut him down pretty much for the second portion of the first half when they built a double figure lead.
Pope was the star they need him to be — love watching him play when he has things going on — but I think Chol in the first half and KC in the second really set the tone. They combined for 13 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and 4 blocks.
Bilodeau had a rough game. He’s made a nice little soph jump, but remains a bit of up and down. I think he’s going to be the x-factor as far as conference success. If he’s playing well, Beavs will be a tough matchup for many conference teams. Not sure how many they can win with him in foul trouble and playing like last night. His running mate Rataj continues to get better. Just a nice all around game.
I am really growing to appreciate Wright and his game. If he can get to even OK from outside, he’d be quite the player for Beavs. Seems like he gets downhill for at least one bucket a game, doesn’t turn the ball over much, and he’s second on team in steals to Lake. And how crazy is it that Lake leads the team in steals and has had a very nice first half of the season.
Nice win. Now on to conference play.

"And how crazy is it that Lake leads the team in steals and has had a very nice first half of the season.?" Love me some Lake! JoJo is impressive for a true frosh walk-on! He pressures the ball and can create havoc with a press or just deeing up in man to man. He's kinda relentless and created some turnovers last night and the Beavs were feeding off it. If we could get guard play like last night this season, we could do some damage, but I'm just not convinced it's sustainable, but please OSU guards, prove me wrong.

Lake is becoming my favorite guard on the team, which I thought would be hard to do after Pope arrived. I’ll say that last year I wasn’t sure if Wright would ever pan out, but now I’m liking his game. I’ve always appreciated Akanno’s athleticism, and his D/ability to drive/effort really stand out as well. He plays hard, last night he hit the floor HARD a couple of times. Our guard play is becoming better and better.

It was by far dexters best offensive game and it propelled the beavers to a 20+ point lead. He’s such a good defender that him having 70% shooting days is amazing. Easiest win against a D1 school. My big concern that I’ll get criticized for……TB can’t stay out of foul trouble against bad teams. He played a lot less minutes last year and had a lot of foul trouble.
