Included are the "doom & gloomers" who basically told us all that the mass exodus and poor recruiting was a sure thing! Yes , there are some nice gets in this recruiting class. But right now we are ranked 111th in team ranking. Part of this is due to the number of signings, but there are other reasons for the ranking. But predominantly class size. |

You speak as if OSU didn't lose DJU, Chiles, Velling, Marcarenas-Arnold, Arnold, McCoy and yeah, even Sappington. You add guys who are taking a shot at the NFL like Fuaga, Gray and Gould and a bunch of seniors and what do you have left as far as "star" players? Martinez (hopefully) and Bolden. It's great that Bray and the staff are doing pretty well. Maybe really well if they can land a key QB and maybe WR in the portal. But let's not pretend that the Beavers haven't taken a bunch of significant hits. And I've heard that there might be more losses to the portal after the bowl. I hope not. You mean like EVERY team in the portal era... EVERY year!? Just stop is right... you fit the profile and were wrong. The sky is still above us all! |

But predominantly class size. Hmmm... and look back a couple years ago with a complete/intact staff, full Pac12 conference and the final rank was #109. |

You can pretend otherwise all you want. Some were leaving regardless... you can pretend otherwise. Plus, the portal also giveth and still is. Reread your earliest post, then how you slowly moved the goalposts as your negativity was called out. But, again... this particular thread/my post on "d & g" types didn't name names. Fact. But again, OSU has not been hit anywhere near the level by the portal as it has this season. |

I'm pretty upbeat about the players that Bray has brought in and might bring in. As far as the whole full reverse merger with the MWC goes, yeah, I'm full-on doom and gloom about that if it happens. You can pretty much read the recruiting sites and know who is just killing it and who is not. Grade our lot as a B minus. For what we are going up against next year in the MWC/mix schedule minus whoregon we stack up pretty well in this years haul. |
