That article says the Pac 12 channel was hemorrhaging money, yet everything I read says it made money, ‘cept for during COVID maybe. The numbers aren’t what they had hoped, but a profit is a profit. www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Journal/Issues/2015/11/30/In-Depth/Pac12.aspx I’ve seen articles that had last year as profitable. Going forward with only two teams it probably was completely unsustainable. Too bad. |

Hard to keep track, but wasn't one of the things to come out in court regarding the conferences refusal/inability to provide OSU and WSU a full itemized accounting of the conferences income, expenses, and liabilities? Maybe there's more to that and a reason why. If the conference has been claiming a profit on the P12 Network all along only to discover there wasn't one. Uh Oh. I don't want to start any rumors as that's not been established as far as I know, but the contradictory reporting on the topic does leave room for pause..... |
