Pope struggled all night and Beavs fought through it. KC with a key block at the end. Tyler and Michael doing what they do best. Solid win. 2 straight games with double double for Rataj, Bilodeau career high scoring game. OSU is going to need other guys who can score when Pope doesn't. My guess is that once conference games start teams will focus on Pope. Rataj is getting up to speed after his injury and surgery in late summer (don't know how serious the surgery was). I'm hoping his summer as team Captain in his European ball playing pays dividends. I'm hoping this is the beginning, and he's the straw that stirs the drink, that frees up the attention to our other players and helps allow them to do what they can do. Few teams can effectively focus on 2 players if the other 3 are fairly decent.

6-3, best start since the 8-1 start in 2019 that fell apart because of COVID-19. Time for a contract extension!?

Still have a lot of work to do, but I think there's some headway being made.
It'll be interesting to see how Utah Valley does against Utah next week.

6-3, best start since the 8-1 start in 2019 that fell apart because of COVID-19. Oregon State's RPI SOS is 58. The majority of the opponents have winning records. Baylor is undefeated. Appy State has been undefeated since the Oregon State game, including beating Auburn 69-64. In turn, Auburn's two losses are to Appy State and Baylor. Auburn has wins over Notre Dame (by 24 in Brooklyn), Virginia Tech (by 17), and Indiana (by 28 in Atlanta).

Toughed out a nice win. Keys for me were hitting FTs down the stretch and limiting UVU’s 3s in second half. They were 5-10 in first half and 2-6 in second. Nice shooting night for both teams, which is surprising given their season shooting percentages.

Troy needed to get blown out, not lose by one in overtime. The RPI is kinder, because the RPI does not utilize the scores.

Still over 200 NET and play two teams over 300 in RPI next.

No bad losses, so far, all expected. Pittsburgh is the worst loss, and they are 6-3. Of course, Oregon State is probably Pittsburgh's best win, so take that with a grain of salt.

I guess if you need to pad your coaching record??

Mountain West has a higher NET than the Pac-12 this year, which sucks, but the conference's RPI is much more clustered than the Pac-12. Probably need a top five finish to compete for an at large.
