Not a great 1st Half but only down 2. Hopefully they can start 2nd Half the way the ended 1st Half.

I’m not a big fan of Pope’s offensive game. Too much dribbling, too many 3 bombs early in the shot clock. I think next year Lake could be the starting point guard and Pope slides over to the 2 and filling in at point to rest Lake. Nothing wrong with that, Pope was a shooting guard until being asked to move to the point his senior year if I recall correctly. They still would have to tweak the O, I don't think it's Pope's fault at all... I recall both Gary and Ethan doing a lot of time killing dribbling then throwing up 3s. |

Literally every other lineup combo that played was awful.

That was not a flagrant foul. Can't believe they're taking such a long time on this. If a player hooks another players neck, while that player is trying to jump……..your basically saying because the defender lost his balance he now has the right to do something dangerous to the offensive player. A flagrant, regardless of intent is a flagrant foul. I saw a guy go up, hit his hip on our player for a foul, then get crunched by his own teammate pretty hard into our guy. The hook was inadvertent in my mind. Used to be flagrant generally meant intentional, maybe it doesn't. If it were intentional, he's the most polite intentional fouler I've seen, possibly ever. He was immediately there to help him up and check on him. |

If Pope were entirely driven by money, he'd already have found a higher bidder with a better record and wouldn't be here this year. |
