Wonder if he will have Vernon Adam's "math tutor" to make sure he passes all the necessary classes to graduate so he can leave without penalty. WSU lists him as a junior this year but he's been in college for four years and probably is on track to graduate.
He's a very good player. I hesitate to call him great because he sure sucked for about half the season this year.
Why any HS QB would sign with Oregon remains one of the great mysteries of college recruiting.

Last time that Oregon State got a big name transfer was 2022, Bo Nix. Oregon State 38 - Oregon 34.
The time before that? Arguably 2016, Dakota Prukop. Prukop started the first five games before a freshman, Justin Herbert, took over for him. Oregon State 34 - Oregon 24.
No worries.

He can announce he's transferring to the University of Timbuctoo if he wants to, at any time he wants to. Signing a paper just makes it legal and official.
And since we're not playing Oregon next year, IDGAF, and it hurts the Cougs, who we will play. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Sure hope he finds a better home than the Ducks. I like the kid, and I don't think playing for the Ducks is the right fit for him. |

I suspect one of our P5 games will be vs the sucks I'd find it highly unlikely we play the ducks in Reser because the ducks would have to pay Idaho 675k to cancel their home game in their 54k-ish stadium to play us for cheap in Reser. Do we really want to vist Autzen, especially 2 years in a row? It's going to be hard enough to get a full schedule of home games as it is. Maybe I'll be surprised. |
