Why can't we multi task or walk & chew gum? In other words... Support Bray, assistant coaches & our players.....but if we ever catch that little f%#*ing weasel on an opposing sideline: "We kick his f%#*ing ass "Six Ways to Sunday." P.S. I know I'm not most intelligent poster on this forum, but I'm extremely stubborn with a good memory. Intelligent posting is overrated. I try to make up for it with overwhelming numbers. Lol Wilky, You're definitely very intelligent & provide overwhelming numbers. I'm still laughing about the time you told me.....IIRC..."When other people think a conversation is over, I think it's just beginning. " Classic Wilky. Take care, buddy......I'm looking forward to a nice bowl game in football and Beaver Baseball "loaded for bear." Go Beavs!

Last thing I'll say about niner. The way he left may have saved the immediate future of the program by uniting players in various common cause and rally behind a coach they know has love for them. Trauma and pain bond better than most things and we may lose a lot fewer guys to MSU and the portal. Thanks I guess JS. I keep hoping that this is all one big long con by Smitty. Playing the heel as he goes out the door. I still believe that he bleeds mostly orange, even if it is now polluted by Spartan Green. Sadly I think if he was that good a dude he probably wouldn't have left at the worst possible time.

I am happy to be done with him - Napoleon once said "the graveyards are full of irreplaceable leaders" - but does the Board have a "standard" way to reference him in the future? Niner honors the number and jersey he wore while he was here, the "C" of "CJS" doesn't work any more.....
ex-CJS? x9er? GotMilk? Thoughts?

Does OSU omit any images of him should we show any football game footage montages from the years he was a player here?

This is a really good point - OSU football benefitted (financially) from the very non-traditional departure of GAG, and perhaps from the non-loyal departure of Q9/JS. This also accelerates Bray's ascendance into the head coaching ranks, perhaps to all of our benefit.... Go Beavers!

Elbert Hubbard led the craft movement of artists, painters, printers, furniture-makers, etc., named The Roycrofters, in my hometown. Roycroft furniture/flatware is precious, if you ever happen to find some, snap it up. It is identifiable by the distinct trademark below. Hubbard also authored the famous (at the time) essay, "A Message to Garcia," expressing the value of individual initiative and conscientiousness in work. His great-grandson was my pediatrician.

Don't give a name power by refusing to say it. He's Jonathan Smith and how often you talk about him is a choice.
