So five bowl games (Alamo, Las Vegas, Holiday, Sun and LA) are contracted with the Pac-12 through the next two seasons. Those contracts will no doubt be broken and other conferences will be put into place. Not sure if that means there's any money coming to the Pac-2 in the form of buyouts but from what I've read it's probably none. Where does that leave the Pac-2? I don't doubt that if OSU and/or WSU win enough games, they'll land a bowl berth somewhere. Maybe there's a possibility to make some sort of deal with a couple bowls that would agree to take a Pac-2 team if it meets certain criteria (probably a minimum of wins, maybe coupled with rankings)... Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? if we could rank top 10 that could easily put us in the picture for one of the at large CFPB bids. As long as we beat some quality non conference - not MWC or FCS schools. I haven't paid a ton of attention to the list but example beating a top 10 ranked Oregon could easily put us in the national conversation. (Assuming they still choose the play us down the road)

Any thoughts? Obviously, the LA Bowl will no longer work. That has to be replaced by another conference. I cannot see the Alamo Bowl sticking around. The SEC seems to have a great opportunity to pick that bowl up. I would like to think that the Las Vegas and Holiday Bowls will agree to some kind of crooked deal with the Mountain West and Pac-12 teams, awarding a spot to the highest ranked between the 14. I see the the combined conference standing a great chance of keeping the Las Vegas Bowl, because it is an ESPN Events Bowl, and they tend to not be very picky about who they take. Plus, UNLV is there, which should help. The Big 12 is the only real alternative, and they do not make nearly as much sense as the Mountain West/Pac-12. San Diego State might help the Mountain West/Pac-12 to keep the Holiday Bowl. I could see the Sun Bowl adding the Mountain West/Pac-12, as well. Although the Big 12 might stand a great chance of picking up that bowl, as well.
