We're the 2nd highest ranked 3 loss team after being the 2nd highest ranked 2 loss team. Arizona is also 8-3 and we're ahead of them after losing head to head. It's never going to be perfect. |

Arizona will probably be ranked ahead of Oregon State in the CFP.
The key number is 11. If Oregon State can finish in the top 11 in the CFP, there is likely a New Years' Six Bowl Game invite. Outside of there, you are hoping for an Alamo Bowl invite.
Oregon State needs to win and have Arizona lose to Arizona State and losses by 7-14 certainly help. Also, losses by Florida State (more as a hedge) or Michigan (if somebody in charge grows a pair) could also help, if things break the right way.

IF a loss Friday I can see UW & Oregon getting NY6 invites no matter the outcome.
I don't think UW is CFP quality team (they'll not get TCU'd, but they're just not GREAT on either side), but if 13-0 they'll go with FSU's qb injury. They supposedly don't take that into consideration... BS. Of course they do when they're trying to get the best 4 at that time of the season.
But, two NY6 teams gives the Alamo 1st pick. Don't see Zona losing to ASU, but?? A win, Tucson is short trip to SA (OK... 12hr drive) for a nearby hungry fan base. I'd guess Alamo goes Zona.
OSU can't do Vegas twice in a row. Guessing that goes UCLA with a final W or Utah. And Holiday happy as heck OSU falls to them.
Funny if LA & Sun bowls are left with choosing one of the LA schools each!

Skip the ranking on any game played in that weather is what you are saying. Games like that should be re scheduled. like what was done for the ducks last weekend. The ducks had prime time every game this year 1230 most the time. Until last week the weather was bad last saturday till after 5pm. So the ducks got the nice weather part of saturday at 730pm.
I wonder what will happen to the ducks this friday when both us and the ducks are in for a perfect game weather wise.
Destroy them beavs. 10 sack game and no less
