New listed capacity is 35,548.
Yes, many empty seats were visible but clearly, thousands of fans migrated from their ticketed seats to stand along the concourse rails under cover. Understandably.
Atmosphere was electric and noise level was the LOUDEST I’ve ever heard at Parker/Reser. I’m definitely hoarse this morning. Great job fans.

This was the first game I really noticed the ‘thunder’ coming from above me on the new side. The upper decks are all steel, and if everyone stomps on them in unison it makes the sound of thunder. It sounded great. More thunder next season.

I wasn't happy when they announced 35,548 as the capacity. Really thought it was shortsighted and that it wouldn't have been that big a deal to take it to the 40-45k range. Too late now, I guess. And I was basing my opinion on OSU being a member of the Pac-12 at the time. Oh well. Maybe it will turn out to be shortsighted anyway, lol.

I’m grateful it didn’t turn out like San Jose State’s remodel.

Watching it here in Arizona, it was awesome. It was so loud at times that you could not hear the announcers, which is usually great.
