Stanford and Cal are locked into the ACC until 2036. They are not going anywhere unless the ACC implodes. I believe that is what Bleeda is saying, the ACC is going to implode, which would free up California and Stanford. If that’s the case, it wouldn’t just be Cal and Furd coming west. There would def be some teams in the ACC not named Clemson, FSU, or Miami that would be looking for a home.

Prognostication as of today with new insider information and OSU recruits talking.......................... Oregon State, Washington State, Boise State, Fresno State, UNLV, San Diego State, Stanford and Cal. That gets the Pac to the required eight member conference, with the opportunity to potentially add two to four additional programs to get to 10-12 teams.
Maybe we just add two teams for 2024? Play an independent schedule, be nimble. Use assets. Stay POWER5. BELIEVE IN BARNES. Dig in! BLEED. That would be great. But it definitely goes in the "I'll believe it when I see it" file.

I expect the ACC will stay intact for the foreseeable future.

I read something on the Athletic this AM that MWC teams buyout is perpetual...even after media rights deal goes away. BTW Bleeda I like it! Welcome back stupid brain schools. Reduced rate of course but think of the travel money you will save. The ACC GOR is about to be blown apart soon anyway. My son has the idea that Pac goes hard for all the hoops schools too; Gonzaga, Memphis, St Mary's, Wichita State. Move right to top 3 or 4 hoops conferences. Seems to me SDSU was willing to jump to get out at 17 million, then the MWC said they didn't give a year's notice, so it would be double that amount. I think I read elsewhere it drops to $0 if 2 year's notice given. That could explain why OSU and WSU would explore going at it on their own for up to two years. The AAC has negotiated their buyouts to a 7 year payback for a couple teams that left. My assumption is IF the Pac goes at it alone for a while, they would look at cherry picking a couple of conferences. Can't see them taking any school without a football team. Football drives everything.

Bring in San Diego State and UNLV. Two good sized media markets. We have assets (hopefully) we can use to buyout those teams. Aztecs have been on standby for a long-time. We might have some band-aid money from Oregon Legislature also. Do an alliance with MWC, which discussions are tactually taking place now. West and East divisions! the new PAC can be: OSU, WSU, CAL, STANFORD, UNLV, SANDIEGO STATE, FRESNO STATE, and BOISE STATE. The ACC Conference is about to blow up (theory). Like RenoBeaver said "Bring back the brain schools". Keep BELIEVING! Keep BLEEDING Orange and Black! Would Stanford or Cal ever join a conference that contained Boise State? Stanford and Cal can f%#* off
