OSU shooting 1st Half 52%(14/27), 2nd Half 26%(8/31), OT 67%(4/6). If they could have made a few more shots in the 2nd Half. They made then when it counted though.

Good win. As bad as the second half was offensively, I actually thought we were getting a lot of good looks in the flow of the offense.

Exactly, wasn't like OSU was just running the clock down and throwing up bad shots. They were getting good looks, they just weren't going in. I remember at least one 3 pt shot that rolled around and fell off the rim and they had a layin that rolled in and out. They were able to make then when it counted in OT though, so I guess that's good.

Good win. Looks like Beavers might be competitive in most if not all games this season, but if they want to take a real step forward — especially in conference — they have to be consistent.
Despite the inconsistency, a lot to like. Surprised that Pope didn’t have a higher career high prior to this game. I just love watching this kid play. Also had a great post-game, courtside interview.
After last game I wrote that Akanno is so dang frustrating. I think maybe he read that post and decided to double down on that — at least offensively. But despite the 1 for 10 start, he was contributing in all other aspects of the game at a high level. And he found his offense late.
Loving how Bilodeau and Wright’s games have developed from last year. Tyler has become a legitimate Robin to Pope’s Batman. And the box score truly doesn’t trumpet the importance of Wright. And Lake is showing the potential to be the same type of player.
How about KC? Great game. If he can contribute like that or thereabouts every night, Beavs will find a way to turn some of last year’s losses into wins this year. And some credit for Chol. An unimpressive stat line for him, but he did some nice things on D.
Bummed that Friday’s game is on Peacock, which I don’t have. Would have liked to see if they continue to step up as the competition gets better.

Who's this Goodwin fella people keep mentioning? Was he with the team the last couple years?

Agree on Dexter. He has so much talent + size and strength. He can drive down the middle and do an NBA dunk on anybody. I love his aggression and spirit, but those 1-10 starts are a killer. With regards to his 3 ball: he does a much better job when he catches it and shoots it. Once he dribbles to create a jump shot, no, he will miss it. Dexter should either take it strong and get fouled or dish it out to Tyler, Jordan or CW for a better shot.
I think we're finally seeing the real Christian Wright. There's a lot to like.
When this team gets Rataj back, it could get interesting.
Justin Rochelin: hopefully, he can get healthy and show us what he's got.
I'm bummed about Peacock too. I gotta watch the Nebraska game!

Taking these games to OT and pulling out the W shows a level of grit not present in recent teams. I am not sure the pure talent is there to make much noise in the Pac, but the heart seems to be.

Glad they pulled it out in OT but better down the stretch in regulation should have been wins for the Beavs w/o OT
