Interesting that the Utes will be by far the toughest defense hole has played this season.
I have thought all year that hole was gettable - this seems to support that - but we shall see........

With Rising now officially out for the rest of the year, I’m not sure Utah can score enough against the Yucks. But Whittingham is the better coach by far. Go Utes!

I can't bring myself to root for Oregon, but I will say that my fondest wish is to smash their top 5 status and spoil their national title dreams with a crushing defeat in the Civil War.

I don't know. I kinda enjoyed USC's plummet. I wouldn't feel bad if the Ducks were exposed in the same manner. But they have a pretty easy schedule. If they make it past UU, it's smooth sailing until the CW. |

He's been performing at a high clip for a very long time. I also don't really remember any scandals or major violations unlike many coaches of his caliber. |

If they make it past UU, it's smooth sailing until the CW. Cal in week two after a bye. USC. Arizona State would be in week four after a bye, as well. Having said that, I don't know how much Arizona State would have left in the tank after @ Washington, Wazzu, @ Utah, and @ UCLA. But Arizona State led Washington n the fourth before that receiver slipped on that play, which led to the pick six. But it would be in Tempe, which is never an easy place to play, especially if Arizona State have righted the ship on defense. |

With Barnes getting so many snaps and especially with adding Sione Vaki to the offense, the Utes are on a different level offensively than they were earlier in the year. I know UofNike has a good defense, but I think/hope that Utah will surprise people with how well they can operate offensively (if Vaki doesn't completely wear out from being on both offense and defense). And,yes, to the original poster's point, the ducks have not faced a defense like Utah's yet. |

I think UU has a good shot to upset hole - but they CANNOT afford to get behind. If they find themselves trailing by more than 7 in the second half I think they are done for. Thier current O isn't set up for comebacks.

I want UW and uo to be ranked as high as possible when we beat each of them this year. It would still probably take some losses amongst the top 4 to get into the playoffs this season unless were beating everyone by 25/30 plus a game from here on out. |
