“Back?” They suck, NOW. Staley’s an idiot, and Herbert is grossly overrated. Lets not let Orange color glasses taint reality. Staley is an idiot, but Herbert is a really good NFL QB. He is being put in hero ball situations by a bad defense and even worse calls by his coach. Herbert is a top 10 QB in the league, I'd even go as far as saying, probably about #8 feels right. Who is grossly overrated is Josh Allen, but that is another convo... What is overrated, is the talent on the Chargers team. Allen is pretty over the hill at this point. They basically have no WR2 with Mike Williams out, Eckler is running on a bum ankle and their back up RB is trash, their line is bottom half in the league as well. The Chargers squad is bad, and Herbert is the only thing keeping it halfway afloat. It is a testament to how overall actually mediocre the Oregon coaches were with the generational talent they had in Herbert. just really poor coaching too, effectively, not go out and win championships with that guy. It has nothing to do with orange, green, grellow, bird-s%#t….. nothing. Herbert has a big arm, is a true talent, and nice, humble young man. I think he makes poor decisions often, isn’t a quick-study regarding defense, and is inaccurate much of the time. Tough, though. Possibly with better instruction and coaching, he could become elite. He isn’t now.

Justin Herbert career QB rating is 96.3, good for 15th overall in NFL history, place behind Peyton Manning (career QB rating is 96.5) His completion percentage is 66.9%, currently good for 4th overall. in NFL History. Inaccurate much of the time? He has played 55 career games so far over 4 and a half seasons, so this isn't just a single season wonder type of thing. He has recently played 3 pretty s%#tty games by his standard, and has missed on some pretty important throws recently, and made a few recent high profile bad plays... but his body of work has clearly shown he is a top notch QB. I am annoyed I am defending a Duck, but Herbert is legit. the rest of the Chargers is the problem, particularly the coach, who is a defensive guy that has somehow turned Mack and Bosa into JAGs.

Josh Allen gets blasted more than a Porn MILF. He can't have much more than pudding in his brain box at this point. I admire his toughness - but that guy is a prime candidate for CTE.

Nothing will happen until after Harbaugh is in the NFL.....that's how the NCAA rolls. Evidence: see Chippy Boy

Herbert has lost 127 yards on sacks and a fumble. And it seems like he regressed a lot against the Chiefs. I would also add that Herbert looked a lot better in the first three weeks than he looked over the last three. The last game that Herbert completed over 60% of his passes was more than a month ago in Minnesota. Herbert probably progresses back to the mean, but he has not played like the guy you are describing for the past month+.

He has been pretty poopy the last 3 games though, and a lot of that is on him. I am a big fantasy guy, and one the the "advanced " metrics on him right now is over those three games he's left 270 yards and 2 TDs on the table with bad throws/decisions. Short term, he has been rough. I agree he probably gets back to his old self. Having no running game hasn't helped him.

Just saw this: Harbaugh suspended for the rest of the regular season. Expect a TRO.

It says he’s not allowed on the sideline. Anyone know if that includes the booth?

Well, that will save him from another defeat at the hands of Ohio State. He has lost 5 of 7 to the Bucks.

Thanks! I assumed that was probably the case, but watched the ESPN clip and it didn’t clarify it.

Taking bets? Will he show up on the Fox or ESPN pre-game shows? Fox Big Noon Kickoff is there in Happy Valley for the Michigan - Penn State game tomorrow ... and Harbaugh did fly with the team there so it would be interesting to see if he did pop up on there if outside the stadium does or doesn't qualify as the "game venue" lol It might not matter anyways because the Michigan lawyers of course have filed for a temporary restraining order so he might be on the sidelines tomorrow anyways ... and there is this tidbit about it:

Harbaugh is a cheater. The bottom line he didn't need to. On the other hand maybe he's been doing this all along.
