Thought Rising was supposed to return today? That's been the rumour every week.

Fark... this is going to be one tough season. Utah, uw, and yes, even uo. Utah looked really impressive in that game. The D is going to be tough, I just hope we can do some screens to open up the run game.
One game at a time, though. WSU first...

Wow…. lanning is some kind of douchey. Have to expect karma gonna get him again. I think they made the point we all knew- Colorado is still Colorado. But wow… nix still in and going for 4th when up 42. Should be interesting post game handshake. Games like this remind me what class act Niner is . Would you prefer they kicked the FG? No win situation when up big. Agree on dix though Exactly, what are they supposed to do, kick a PAT distance FG to 95% tack on 3 more meaningless points? At least CU had a chance to stop the 4th down, and did.

If DJ can play 3 quarters a game like he played the 4th were fine.

I have never had strong feelings one way or another about Dan Lanning (other than despising him for his association with the ducks), but I'm glad he was willing to say, in front of the cameras, in his pre-game speech, what many of us were thinking anyway... "Built on substance, not flash! Let your pads do the talking! Do the talking with your helmets! Every play. They're playing for clicks, we're playing for wins! There's a difference! This game ain't going to be played in Hollywood, it's going to be played on the grass!" It's kind of refreshing to have the coach be about the game and not about his TV show or his trademarked phrases or giving away sun glasses. Hadn't Colorado done just that in its previous three games? Won each one of them, on the field, twice with pretty gutsy 4th-quarter comebacks, once going 98 yards in the final minute to tie the game? Isn't that talking with your helmet and pads? Not a big fan of Sanders at all. But he had Colorado massively overachieving in its first three games. Today they ran into a superior team. They got beat badly. But they didn't cheap-shot, play dirty or any of that stuff. That was Colorado State. Most of the nonsense surrounding Colorado has come from FOX and the other media, who hyped the story week after week to pump the rankings. I really haven't heard much at all from the players.
