Unless I am misreading... the poll is asking for a prediction, not who we are pulling for. I think the *ucks will win in a blow out. However I am ROOTING for a 0-0 tie that goes for 12 overtimes before it is called and both teams cancel the rest of their seasons in embarrassment and fatigue. If CU vs CSU drew over 8 million viewers, imagine what a ranked OSU vs a ranked CU will draw. Go Buffs. But yeah, if the poll is asking who wins the attention whore battle -----> then ducks in a landfill. We will have to imagine as CU will not be ranked by November... |

Y'all are so bizarre! Who cares?The surest way to not care is not to post a poll about 'em. C'mon man! Clearly WE all do... This is one of the typical forum arguments I will never get. The holy then thou idea that we shouldn't pay attention to the thing we are all clearly passionate about because we are spending our precious time and resources reading a forum based on them, smh. I am a Beaver fan, I am a Pac-12 fan, I am a college football fan, and I am a fan of football and sports in general... WHY WOULDN'T I be interested in and care about this game??? Even non football fans are interested in the Prime Time whirlwind and the *uck color combinations!  You point out why others would be interested. But why would YOU care about either Colorado or Oregon, though? At some point, you are aiding and abetting the hype machine. And at still another point, you are the hype machine yourself. Everyone is talking up a game, which absolutely no one should care about or watch. Ignore 'em at least until the Ides of October. |

I will cheer for Oregon to destroy them, and the FOX/Deion hype machine.
Why should I care about this game? Because I'm a college football fan, and that means I follow many other teams and care about a lot more than just the Beavers.
