Hunter is a great kid... will fit in very well - loves fishing and hunting. Great family as well. He is actually a 2x junior freestyle champ. I believe he won as a freshman and sophomore. I don't think he competed last summer at Fargo -but I could be wrong. Also a 2x Missouri state champ. Needs to bulk up, but still having a year of high school and a redshirt he can put on some size. Super excited about him being a Beaver.

Yep... The wrestling program is going to be a different kind of beast... luckily our coaches have done a great job of creating tough schedules outside of the conference. It's nice to say we wrestle Ok State, Penn State, Iowa, NC and CKLV and our redshirts get a ton of open opportunities. One thing we can be sure of, the coaches and admin surrounding wrestling are working hard to get this all figured out. |
