Agree. It just never seems to turn out well for anybody. It's always best to just be proud of your kid publicly. You can hold the grudges and do the smack talking privately. While I also agree in principle, I don't think that what Big Dave said in that tweet was smack talking or even terribly inflammatory. In a nutshell he's saying Dabo has to embrace the transfer portal even though he doesn't like it, because that's the state of college football and what's best for the programs and athletes as a whole.

On the TV viewership numbers, out of 13 games (including the bowl) last year, OSU was on ESPN three times, ABC once, then ESPN 2 twice and CBSSN once. The other 6 games were on the Pac12 channel. I don't know how that compares with the other teams, but OSU spent a lot of time on the Pac-12 channel. CBSSN isn't really everywhere, kinda hard to find for some, and the 2 games on ESPN 2 were actually started on ESPNU because another game or tennis was more important and running late. I can't find anything that the two ESPN2 games started on ESPNU. Games on Pac-12 Network: 7 Arizona, California, and Wazzu
6 Colorado and Oregon State
5 Arizona State
4 Stanford, UCLA, Utah, and Washington
3 USC
2 OregonAll of the games against FCS teams were on the Pac-12 Network, except for one, the North Dakota State @ Arizona game. 10 of the 12 Pac-12 teams played an FCS team (only Colorado and USC didn't), so you get: 7 Arizona6 California, Colorado, and Wazzu 5 Oregon State 4 Arizona State 3 Stanford, UCLA, USC, Utah, and Washington 1 Oregon
Oregon State did not play Arizona but played each of the other three Pac-12 teams on the top of the list on the Pac-12 Network. The other two games were the USC and Utah games, one of their three games against FBS competition. USC and Utah both played Arizona on the Pac-12 Network. (Arizona only played on a network other than the Pac-12 Network twice in conference play, @ UCLA and at home against Arizona State.) USC's third game was the season-opener against Rice. Utah's third game was the trip to conference doormat, Colorado. Those ESPN 2 games started on ESPNU or another channel of theirs that generally doesn't feature FBS football. Ixm pretty sure I had to look for games there a couple times last season, don't recall if it happened on the main channel games. At least they flash a warning on the scheduled channel every minute or two that it can be viewed on the alternate channel when they switch.

I just looked back through game threads for "where's the game" comments. I must have confused with basketball season. I hate having to swap networks during the game. My opologies.
