It sucks being a casualty of all this cutthroat bulls%#t, but that's where we find ourselves. Honestly, it's made me kind of cool off on college athletics in general. As disappointing as all this is for Beaver Nation, it's out of our control......I'm going to shift focus to things I can control a bit more, and hope for the best.......oh, and try to avoid obnoxious duck fans 😆

Somehow, I don't think George K really cares. It's just business to him. I'm not sure he was as passionate about protecting the future of the Pac as the fans have been.
I think it would be hilarious, though, if George K could swipe a handful of teams from the Big 12 to play here. That would be fun.

Why am I not surprised that a headline and quote have zero to do with what actually happened. Congrats you could be media person in today's world of journalistic integrity. For those who care about facts and not complete and utter sensationalism BS that tries to incite some type of response: Headline: "Big 12's Brett Yormark detailed what he told Pac-12 commish George Kliavkoff after poaching teams." Quote: "Yormark said his main message was to convey that he was sorry to put Pac-12 chief George Kliavkoff in a tough position, “But this was something that we had to do. And this was something that the board and our key stakeholders encouraged. I’m sorry that my gain is your loss,” Yormark said. “We had a very collegial conversation. George was fantastic, and I’ll be seeing him again in a couple of weeks at some industry meetings.” Again... for those of us tired of false news and folks trying to extend divisiveness.

Yormark succeeded because his board and key stakeholders WANTED him to expand by whatever means. Kliavkoff failed BECAUSE his board and key stakeholders fought expansion. Kliavkoff was putting together an expansion plan within 30-45 days of arriving on the job, literally a year before Yormark was hired, and was fought by school Presidents. He arrived July 1st, and by some time in August he was shot down. Heck, even when we were down to 10 teams we had Presidents voting against expansion back to 12.
I doubt Kliavkoff “doesn’t care”, but maybe several school Presidents (and probably their ADs) didn’t. I’d highly question how much Kliavkoff is to blame for this mess, he wasn’t allowed to do his job.

If he didn't want to brag about it he could have just said 'I am not going to discuss private conversations I had with Mr Kliavkoff.' 4) Reading articles and posting ones opinion about them is what makes message boards work. Not much gained by simply cutting and pasting from an article with zero poster commentary. If that is what you are looking for, go read a newspaper...if you can find one.

It wasn't an opinion as soon as you included a misleading and completely false quote. And, actually message boards work best when false BS is eliminated. Especially when it's disguised as opinion only serving to create anger. You added false commentary and never stated an opinion. And, click bait was your goal or you could have simply provided the link. Hence my actual summary, so folks didn't have to wade thru your BS.

Hahahaha, I generally don't think of Baseballlls as an idiot, but maybe I will have to re-evaluate that. The guy who talks sh!t to posters about 'fish jumping in the boat' was trolled by an obvious fake quote used to exagerate a point. Hahahahaha

Hahahahaha Dude, you put quotes on it, in the context of what Yormark said. This is how falsehoods start and perpetuate. rgeorge has a point. I've seen Saturday Night Live skits where they have made up stupid things in the name of fun, and many in the general public think those were actual quotes of the individuals they were spoofing.

The guy who talks sh!t to posters about 'fish jumping in the boat' was trolled by an obvious fake quote used to exagerate a point. Hahahahaha Actually no one would think that, and certainly no one would have to go search for such a quote. But, again, I see you needed some way to deflect posting outright BS. You obviously needed some attention and thought it would be clever... you included it as click bait. So, see you got some much need attention. Although it was for making sh&t up and then trying to defend it. Because as you stated, not many actually reading the linked article would think anyone was bragging. If you wanted to simply pass along info you link an article. Maybe even state you think he may have been bragging. But, if you want to divisive you attach an immature quote. But, again trying to defend it is even a better indication of you're overall thought process. So according to you any article, or even posts here, can be commented on with complete and utter disregard for what they really say under the guise of "opinion"? Is that your take? It's "exaggerate" by the way...
