I wouldn't mind one or two, particularly in Portland and Eugene, that allude to the Beavs running all over the Dux in the CW. A good advertising man could think up something good. I've only got: OSU Running over our competitors...with a great pic of Martinez from that game.
No matter how you look at it, that game was an embarrassing loss for them and it's always nice to remind them of that.

Let’s hope it works out as well as the last time, when they were hawking Joey six pick I am sure Oregon hopes it works out as well as last time. Conference championship, fiesta bowl win, ranked #2 both polls & a 4th place finish in the Heisman voting. Yep - Joey five picks. Boom to bust in Detroit, the way he ended up in Miami, and of course, my favorite, Joey tears. 23-13 Civil War score in 2000. Better than our score over them last year of 38-34. Bring on Meeeechhhheeegan, right?  . Harbaugh has got to be licking his lips! |

I thought I'd heard that. When queried I got no reply. And, to me that's also a waste of those funds. But, that's those folks' decision and one the reasons I don't give to them. Very, very loose interpretation of where they can use the $. My opinion, those $ should go directly to student athletes not a third party biz being paid from those funds. A billboard should be a donation to, not pd from. |
